Prosecco extra dry
An Italian semi-sparkling white wine produced in large quantities in the Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia regions and named after the village of Prosecco. Its taste has been described as fragrant and crunchy, bringing to mind yellow apple, pear, white peach and apricot. Prosecco is usually served without mixing as an aperitif, but also appears in cocktails. It is the main ingredient in the original Bellini and Spritz Veneziano cocktails and is used in others, such as Mimosa or in combination with vodka and lemon sorbet.
