Karibu Chenin Blanc

It is a variety of white wine vine from the Lière Valley of France and the most widely planted in South Africa, where it is also known as Steen. The wine is characterized as dry, with flavors of quinces and apples, creating an intense, viscous dessert wine that can be significantly improved during ripening. Light, dry style can be combined with light dishes such as salads, fish and chicken or to balance flavors of spicy dishes of some Asian and Spanish cuisines.
